Yay! Happy New Year!!! And to celebrate, here’s the newest chapter.
I’d also like to remind everyone that the light novel version of Maou-sama no machi dzukuri is now available. I’ve already purchased mine over at bookwalker as an e-book although you can also get your copy at amazon. I believe a simple google translate on those pages would be enough to guide you through.
There seems to be two additional or extra chapters in the light novel. I don’t think they affect the main story much. In fact, I daresay that the plot stays mostly the same for the first volume. The changes I’ve noticed upon my skimming are mostly minor like Stolas’s hair color (it’s now violet!) and the use of the gun’s real names. Regarding the extra chapters, I think I won’t be translating them until I’ve caught up with the web novel raws.
It also seems their going for “The Devil is making city” as the novel’s Engrish title. So I think I’ll now be using The Demon Lord’s building a city.
Also, I’ll be releasing the illustrations bit by bit as an attempt to make you guys want to buy a copy for yourself. The image this time is from the extra chapter which is now the prologue though it’s more of a preview (and spoilery at that).
And now, thanks to thediabolicalgenius’s insight, I have now changed [Star] to [Planet]. The raw uses 【星】 which oftentimes means star but could also mean any light-emitting or reflecting celestial body. This realization might also affect one of Elder Dwarf’s skill or the way the Creator addressess the Demon Lords but I won’t be editing them yet. I’ll procratinate on them until they are next mentioned XD.

Next, I’ve decided to keep Kuina’s Oto-san since not many are opposed to it. Daddy is a little too creepy for me and although Papa might work, there might be a character somewhere down the line that would use it so I’m gonna reserve it for that, just in case.
Also, I think it’s safe to say that this will be the last chapter I’m gonna release this year. Unless of course I can translate one in one sitting and not be distracted. So, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you guys! (If your belief doesn’t observe these, I at least hope you benefit from the day off from work or school)

Prologue: The things that have changed
The Light Novel has been released!!! Yay!! Go and support Tsukiyo Rui-sensei, the author we revere.
I’ve revised the wording on the Creation medal. It still means the same, just, hopefully, clearer. Also, I think it will be better if you skim through my translations of first 5 or so chapters.
『[Creation] medal. A rank. Enables the synthesis of monsters using the [Creation] medal and two other medals (an original medal is required). It’s possible to transform the attribute of this medal to one that the maker desires and to then synthesize it. Additionally, the outcome is chosen from the all the possible outcomes. ※An attribute that has once been transformed into can never again be selected.』
And regarding the page with the character illustrations, it has a lot more spoilers than I initially thought so I’m only gonna translate that by the end of the third volume.
Lastly, do you guys want Kuina to stop saying Oto-san? Like maybe go for Dad instead? Before anyone proposes it, I’m gonna reject Daddy right here and now.
