Now, for the image. I’ve always thought these are the two Mythological Foxes but the other one looks a lot like Kuina. Is that her??? If so, where’s the other one? There’s nothing in the light novel that discusses about this image (it’s pretty much the same as the web novel which I translate)
Yeah, most probably not since in that chapter, Kuina is not transformed.

Well, she looks like Kuina. She even has that fang at the corner of her mouth. I’d find it harder to believe that it wasn’t her.
There are often small differences in a light novel adaption of a web novel. Maybe in the scene where Kuina tries on the outfit, the changed it so she’d be in human form for some reason. Maybe her tail was making it hard to get the dress on or something. Not sure why the mythological fox would be human too though.
They did make a point about it being a demihuman town after all…..
