I’ve come to a bit of realization. Well, more of a theory. Maybe it was only when [Light] Demon Lord Marbas, the one that supposedly helped Belial, died that Marcho became one of the big three. If so, then it really is reasonable to assume that she was the weakest among the current big three. What I’m saying is, it makes sense that she was the one that Black targeted back in volume 5.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new chapter!
Maybe it isn’t a fixed number but they call them the
“big as_much_oldest_generation_DL_with_A_rank_medal_alive_are_around”.
In this case, if Fire were still alive they would be the “big four”.

Well one guy has dragons that can boost their rank by one and the other has monsters that can manipluate/stop time. I’d say marcho, even if she had comparable strengh, would most likely be the least troublesome opponent.

Marcho’s strength is variety and that’s it. Other demon lords can ONLY play to their gimmick unless they use two medals that aren’t their own.
Dragon demon lord can only make dragon types and time demon lord can ONLY make monsters that manipulate time and space. These are powerful traits but do technically limit their options.
Marcho’s trait is just “beast” which encompass A LOT of things especially if she uses a medal or two from a different demon lord to add on their trait. But while variety is great it also means she’s a “jack of all traids” type person.
User of many types but master of none. So she very much would be the weakest of the big three but also the “best prey” because the versatility of the beast medal would be useful to any demon lord that broke her crystal.
With how versatile Black’s medal already was he’s be able to expand that advantage of his even more with the beast medal and potentially make any kind of monster. Then beating dragon or time would become possible and he’d get the limited but top class medals that would guarantee top quality monsters.
