The picture is nice, but a little too nice for me. Once again, I think the new illustrator is drawing the characters a little too soft and gentle looking. In Ruli’s case especially, she’s the miko of an evil god so I was hoping for her to look lovely on the surface, but with something dangerous underneath. So that’s missing for me.

Well her description where she first appeared says “She had shoulder-length hair the color of sea.” and shoulder-length and short are slightly different. The illustration isn’t actually off on that point.
