When shows have a character remember something they have forgotten, typically because of amnesia or trauma of some kind, I always find it funny that that character can remember things from years ago so vividly. I mean, I can’t even remember some things from this morning.
Oh, don’t worry, nothing to do with this release. Just felt like typing something here for a change.

They can remember it cause it left a deep impression on them so it’s not entirely wrong. It’s like remembering when you score highest in exam in a subject for the first time in high school even after graduating from there years ago. Or remembering the favourite dish’s taste that your mother used to make even after seperating from your parents cause of job.

Yes, or those eyewitness reports in shows, where they describe the clothing and everything of complete strangers they happened to see weeks ago. Sure, if it was an eye-eyed pirate dressed the part, but some random office-worker of which you see a few hundred or even thousands during the commute?
